PROJECT 02: DAINTY BRACELET

Bracelet, Crystal Bracelet, Crystals, Dainty Bracelet, DIY, Gems, Stack Bracelet, Stones
I like stacking my bracelets and sometimes I just need that extra sparkle that would blend in with the woods and stones, which I like mixing together. These dainty bracelets are great for that. You can wear them stacked or just one strand and it would still look amazing.

MATERIALS & TOOLS
2" Eyepin
4mm Round Faceted Crystal Beads
8mm Round Faceted Crystal Bead
2 Different Size Metal Beads
Button Clasp
Bead Caps
Curb Chain
Pliers
Round Nose Pliers
Wire Cutter

STEP 1
Take the 2” eyepin and insert beads.

STEP 2
Trim excess wire if you find the end too long. With the round nose pliers, bend the wire end to create a loop.

 STEP 3
Hold both ends with your index fingers and slightly arc the beaded wire with your thumb. Set aside.

STEP 4
Take 5” of chain and divide that into 2.

TIPS & TRICKS
What I do to make dividing easy is to take another eyepin (helps to stop the wire from accidentally slipping through the wire) and insert that on the last rings on both ends. I then let it hang naturally and carefully work my way down to the bottom 2 rings of the chain, straightening any twisted wires.

STEP 5
Connect one end of the chain to the beaded wire and the other to the clasp.

STEP 6
Adjust by removing rings from chain to get the accurate measurements. This makes 7.5, but since the beaded wire is slightly arched it comes short of 7.5.

This is an easy project that can be done by beginners and kids, so if you’re looking for a little distraction or an outlet for your creative juices, then this is a great project for you.
